For those who are planning to appear CSE Prelims on 24th, either for 1st time or otherwise...

1. Maintain speed from 1st question itself and keep bubbling the answer sheet in duration which you feel convenient but don't keep it for the last moment.
2. In these 5 days revise Polity, Freedom  struggle, Environment, Geography and Economy as majority questions come from these areas.
3. In other portions do Buddhism and Jainism well as they are most asked portion from Ancient.
4. For those in hindi medium, if u can't grasp question from it, try reading in English version as it may be more clear in that.
5. Above point is applicable to to those appearing in English medium too, you can look in HINDI version.
6. Don't panic if you are facing tough questions first, it may appear normal as u approach latter part or it may be possible that paper in general may be on tougher side, then also be calm as the merit would definitely be discounted by that factor.
7. In comprehension try to read question 1st and then paragraph which will help you to skim out answers quickly while you are reading paper for first time.
8. Don't discuss paper -1 in the break with anyone as it may lead you to depressing times,if you have done any wrong, remember your fate is decided by Paper -2 so keep your optimism, energy and hope till 4.30 PM.
9.Sometimes answers in GS paper are given hint in another question so keep an eye on such questions.
10. In decision-making questions ,there is differential marking so try to take decision what a person with his interest in honesty, justifiably , and common sense will do.

Being Mortal : Atul Gawande

Being Mortal : Atul Gawande  Medicine and What Matters in the End A guide of death and what happens before. There is emergence of literature which is discussing the prior death experiences which was not much talked about previously. Paul Kalanithi's "When breath becomes Air" was recommended to me by an oncologist but haven't followed that genre for long.  I picked up  Being Mortal : Atul Gawande published by Penguin Books  recently and this was my first book of Dr. Gawande's literature who has mostly written on medicine and its interaction with humans. The book talks about the need to talk about detah and how medical profession is failing to keep up with the idea of dignified death and harps upon artficial life elongation instead of focussing on quality of life. The author banks upon his own experiences as a physician based in USA and near experiences of his father who himself was a doctor and develops cancer after 7 decades of healthy life . He states tha
